Serenty Revised
Most people have heard of the Serenity Prayer, usually attributed to Reinhold Neibuhr and widely used by 12 Step Recovery groups.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference."
But have you heard this variation:
"God
grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage
to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me."
A lot of wisdom in both versions for our consideration.

ReplyDeleteActually had some decent blogs going last week, and made the mistake of clicking a referral link to see what it was (it was a virus, so had to restore computer) anyway, soon, hoping to get back on track.
