This blog compiles some notes and observations from one average guy's journey of life, faith and thought, along with some harvests from my reading (both on-line and in print). Learning to follow Jesus is a journey; come join me on the never-ending adventure!

Serenty Revised
Most people have heard of the Serenity Prayer, usually attributed to Reinhold Neibuhr and widely used by 12 Step Recovery groups.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference."
But have you heard this variation:
"God
grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage
to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me."
A lot of wisdom in both versions for our consideration.
Very happy to see more Christian blogs lately. Actually had some decent blogs going last week, and made the mistake of clicking a referral link to see what it was (it was a virus, so had to restore computer) anyway, soon, hoping to get back on track. Was just telling someone else, there is a great site www.reftagger.com that gives the complete scripture in a hover box when you type in the place it appears. It is a great resource.
